

As you may know, PageRank is the well known system Google uses to rank websites on the Internet. Well, that's only part of the whole ranking system they use nowadays, as they mention on this post about Google's Search Quality. What is more interesting is how other parts of the system work today and how they may work in the near future.
Specially I would like to remark the personalized models: "not all people want the same thing". Would you imagine one day when a search on Google returns different results to you than it does to other people? Saving your search history, visited pages, feeds subscribed in Google Reader, etc... gives Google a lot of information about what do you do on Internet, which will help it to guess what are you searching for now.
Maybe that day has already come?
